Here are junior season four game highlights of Gaffney (S.C.) wide receiver Quinshad Davis.
SC WR impressed with Tigers
Gaffney junior wide receiver Quinshad Davis made the ride down to Tigertown for Junior Day a few weeks back, and by all accounts, he enjoyed his trip.
"Running down the hill, going to Vickery Hall, that stood out the most, and getting to talk to coach Swinney at the game and in his office," Davis told CUTigers.com, when asked what the best part of that visit was.
What was the message that Swinney passed on to Davis?
"He was just telling me to keep my head on the right track, keep doing good in school, lifting weights and I'll be straight," Davis said.
The Scout.com three-star also spent time one-on-one with wide receivers coach Jeff Scott.
"He was just making sure I've got everything in line," Davis said. "He told me not to rush my decision, but whenever I feel like I want to go somewhere, make it. He just told me to keep my head straight, basically."
So far, it‘s the only visit that Davis has taken this spring. He currently does not have any other scheduled, but does have one trip in mind.
"I don't have anything planned, but I planned on going back to [South] Carolina, since I've been down to Clemson," he said.
Clemson, South Carolina and N.C. State remain Davis' only three offers at this point, but Florida State, Tennessee, Georgia, LSU, Nebraska, Stanford and Illinois are also in contact.
"I don't have any favorites. Everybody's the same," he said.
Davis shared a few thoughts on the two in-state schools.
Clemson: They have the new offense in. They have nice facilities, a good coaching staff, a lot of good things going on right now.
South Carolina: They're coming off a great season last year. They're coaches do a pretty good job recruiting. It's about the same.
As a junior, he finished with 95 catches for 1,486 yards receiving and 16 touchdowns.
