Georgia PF high on Clemson

Clemson is among five schools that this power forward from Georgia holds in high regard. Where does he rank in that top-five? And who else is in it?

PF Brandon Morris Profile

Miller Grove High School (Lithonia) junior power forward has several offers to his name. Along Clemson, Florida, Ohio State, Georgia, Auburn, Florida State, Alabama, Nevada and College of Charleston have offered.

"I don't remember the exact date, but I do remember it was one of my early offers, like one of my first two, or top three," Morris told CUTigers.com of his offer from the ACC Tigers. "It was UGA, then Auburn and then Clemson."

Clemson assistant coach Earl Grant serves as Morris' primary recruiter to Tigertown.

"He calls me about once a month, then gets up with me on Facebook every now and again," Morris said.

Last summer, Morris spent time in Clemson for basketball camp.

"They have real nice facilities. I like their gym and the atmosphere," he said.

As for the favorite schools, how does that look?

"My top five would be Florida, Georgia, Auburn, Clemson and probably Florida State," Morris said. "That's in order, but Clemson would come before Auburn, so they would be number three, behind Georgia and Florida."

As a junior at Miller Grove, he averaged 11 points and eight rebounds.

Don't expect a decision to be made anytime soon.

"I'll most likely wait until the end of my senior year," Morris said. "I don't plan on signing early."
