Elite OT visits Tigertown Wednesday
Dillon High School offensive tackle D.J. Park arrived to Clemson around 11 this morning and was there until 6 p.m.
"We took a tour and watched practice," he told CUTigers shortly after his visit concluded. "We saw the dorms, school buildings and Vickery Hall-all that stuff like that."
Wednesday was the first time Park watched the Tigers practice.
"It was pretty good. It was neat," he said.
That's what stood out the most on his trip.
"Just the way that they do it," Park said. "There's no time wasted."< br>
He spent most of the practice watching offensive line coach Robbie Caldwell at work.
"He wants you to learn from him. He's pretty straightforward," Park said.
While in town, he spoke with head coach Dabo Swinney, his recruiter of record, defensive coordinator Kevin Steele and Caldwell.
"We mainly just talked about football," Park said.
Later this month, he'll visit East Carolina.
