Clemson legacy enjoys Dabo Camp
WR Ryan Jenkins Profile Ryan Jenkins spent much of the last couple of years following the recruiting process of his older brother, Martin Jenkins, a sophomore cornerback at Clemson. After spending Wednesday at the Dabo Swinney Football Camp, the younger Jenkins, a rising junior at Milton High School [Alpharetta, Ga.], will hit the camp circuit hard this summer. He'll also head to Tennessee, Auburn, Georgia and Florida. "It was great," Jenkins told CUTigers.com of the Clemson camp stop. "My brother had been getting recruited since I was in the eighth grade, so I've known those coaches for a couple of years now. We just have a great relationship. "They're some of the best coaches I've ever been with. It doesn't matter what college I go to. They're coaches are always some of the best coaches." The 5-foot-10, 160-pound wide receiver was confident with his performance in Tigertown. "I feel there's always room for improvement, but I feel I performed well," he said. "The quarterbacks were real good. Coach [Dabo] Swinney and coach [Jeff] Scott directed me on something that I needed to work on, but I feel like I performed well." With several visits to Clemson already under his belt, Jenkins has developed serious interest in the school. "The thing that interests me the most is the family aspect of Clemson," he said. "When I make my college choice, I just want to feel like home, wherever I'm at. Clemson really does that well." Jenkins has also visited Auburn, Georgia and Tennessee. So far, Clemson, Auburn, Michigan, Georgia Tech and Florida have expressed the most interest.
