had never been to Tigertown until last week’s visit.
“I was just touring the school. I walked around the field and talked to some of the coaches,” he told

but he had to leave…I didn’t get to talk to him that much. He’s a cool guy.”
Recruiting coordinator/wide receivers coach
Jeff Scott
serves as Washington’s primary recruiter for Clemson. Washington said that’s who he spoke with the most during the day trip.
“He’s a cool guy,” Washington said. “He’s real cool.”
He enjoyed the overall experience in Tigertown.
“I liked the facilities a lot. They were nice,” Washington said.
The 5-foot-11, 170-pound safety attends the same school that sent Jamie Harper and Daniel Andrews to Clemson.
“[Harper and Andrews] both said they liked it in Clemson,” Washington said.
Along with Clemson, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, South Carolina and Miami have already offered.
Washington made 90 tackles and had five interceptions during his sophomore season.
