Oliver Jones, one of the top in-state offensive tackles in the class of 2012, spent a few days in Clemson earlier this month. He plans to make one more camp visit this summer.

The Scout.com three-star from Ninety Six High School was in Clemson for all three days of the first session days of the Dabo Swinney Football Camp.

Although he did not participate in workouts, Jones had an extended first-hand look at how Clemson offensive line coach Robbie Caldwell works on the practice fields.

"The way he explains stuff out—he's not difficult to understand. Some coaches can be difficult in their explanations, but he wasn't," Jones told CUTigers.com. "The intensity from station to station—all the coaches brought that. Even the coaches they brought in were high intensity guys."

Jones roomed with Clemson commitments Jay Guillermo and Patrick DeStefano, plus fellow uncommitted three-star Jay Jay McCullough during the camp.

"We had a good time. We hung out, go to know each other, although we pretty much already know each other. I got to know Jay Jay a little bit better," Jones said.

The Clemson commitments were talking about the Tigers, of course.

"They always are," Jones said.

The two offensive line commitments are jonesing for him to pull the trigger and join the Tigers' 2012 class.

"They're basically just telling me to commit," Jones said.

So far this summer, Clemson is the only school that he's visited. A trip to Georgia for Dawg Night is on deck for July.

The No. 47 offensive tackle in the class of 2012 will also participate in on-field workouts while he's in Athens for the camp. He's hopeful that Georgia will step forward with an offer.

Jones also plans to also take a visit to South Carolina before the summer is over.

With offers from Clemson, South Carolina, North Carolina, N.C. State and East Carolina, Jones claims no order of favorites.

"Clemson, South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia—those are the top ones right now," he said. "No particular order."

Jones plans to make a commitment sometime during the start of his senior season, if not a few weeks after it starts.
