WEEK 2: Friday Night Lights

Chad Kelly

Several Clemson verbal commitments and targets made their 2011 season debuts this week, including quarterback Chad Kelly.

Chad Kelly, the No. 29 signal caller in the 2011 class, completed 16 of 26 passes for 167 yards and a touchdown. He also rushed 10 times for 85 yards and a score but St. Joe's lost to defending state champion Aquinas, 40-20.

Kelly accepted an invitation to play in the U.S. Army All-American Game last week as well.

For first-time in school history that Fox Creek beat Blackville-Hilda, 48-20. Marty Williams, of course, played a big part. He rushed for 207 yards and three scores and threw for 153 yards and two scores.
