SCPrepNation.com caught up with the Carolina Hurricanes AAU team during practice on Thursday. The Hurricanes host a number of top prospects including the reigning State AAA Player of The Year, Eastside SF Davaris McGowens. We talked with the 6'5 225 pound prospect about his junior season, recruitment, and thoughts moving forward in this FREE recruiting update courtesy of SCPrepNationTV.

We made the ride over to Long Branch Baptist Church in Greenville on Thursday to check out the Carolina Hurricanes as they were holding their last practice before hitting the road for another AAU tournament in Arkansas this weekend. There we caught up with a trio of prospects who are hearing from various colleges throughout the country.

In this installment courtesy of SCPrepNationTV's YouTube channel we spoke with the state AAA Player of the Year, Eastside small forward Davaris McGowens. McGowens has a pair of offers and from what we hear could pick up a few more after his trip out to Arkansas this weekend. The 6'5 225 pound prospect has transformed his game from that of a power player in the post to a versatile yet still powerful swingman. Check out the interview with McGowens below.
