Jay Woods' offer list keeps building and the soon to be senior picked up another on Thursday…
Tigers offer Georgia tackle
DT Jay Woods Profile More than a week after Hobby was by, the Jackson High School junior picked up an offer from the Tigers. "It was kind of a surprise. Coach Marion Hobby came by the school and talked to my coaches. My coach told me that Clemson was going to offer me next. Friday, my coach came up to me and told me Clemson was excited about me and that they offered me," Woods told CUTigers. His cousin, Broderick Allen, played at Clemson in 1987 before suffering an accident that prevented him from playing football. "He always wanted me to go to Clemson, look at Death Valley," Woods said. "I went up there last year for a visit. I liked it." This summer, he will visit Clemson, South Carolina, Vanderbilt and Ole Miss. He's already been to Georgia, Georgia Tech, Auburn, Kentucky, Louisville and Missouri. Woods has no list of favorites. "This fall, I'll make my top five. Then, I'll take my official visits after I name my top five," he said. As a junior, Woods registered 99 tackles, 13 tackles for loss and 10 sacks.
