The Grayson High School senior cornerback is currently on campus with teammates Robert Nkemdiche and Wayne Gallman, also a 2013 Clemson commit.

"It just felt right. It was the right time and everything," Kamara told CUTigers on Wednesday night.

Clemson's coaches, Kamara said, helped make the decision an easy one.

"Just how the coaches come at you off the field -- it's a big family over here…and they're going to hold me to a high standard," he said.

Gallman, who committed to Clemson earlier this year, arrived to the Dabo Swinney Football Camp on Tuesday.

Kamara and Nkemdiche joined him in Clemson around 4 o'clock on Wednesday.

The group from Grayson is spending the night in Tigertown and will remain there for the next day or so.

Kamara is rated by Scout.com as the No. 68 cornerback in the class of 2013.

As a junior, he had 53 tackles, four interceptions and two forced fumbles.
