Between practices during Saturday's camp, the Daniel High School rising junior committed to Clemson.
"It's my hometown. When I was little, I played little league, I played for the Clemson Tigers. It's always been my dream to play for Clemson," Oglesby told CUTigers on Saturday.
"I grew up watching C.J. Spiller and Jacoby Ford. I always wanted to play there."
Oglesby committed while meeting with Swinney in his office.
"He asked me if I wanted to come play football for Clemson, and he asked me if I was all in. I said yes," Oglesby said.
The run of Daniel players at Clemson continues. For the fifth-straight cycle, the Tigers have picked up a commitment from the local high school.
"It means a lot. Everyone that came out of Daniel, they want to represent their city and play for a big school like Clemson," Oglesby said. "I want to do the same thing."
As a sophomore, Oglesby rushed 221 times for 1,731 yards and 25 touchdowns. He caught nine passes for 97 yards and a score and returned three kickoffs for 105 yards.
