Final schedule with official conference dates will follow by the end of August.
Clemson has announced its tentative 2012-13 men’s basketball schedule, including its opponents for the first 18-game ACC schedule in league history. Among ACC schools, Clemson will play Boston College, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Miami, North Carolina, NC State, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest at home. The Tigers’ 15-game home schedule will include non-conference opponents Purdue (Nov. 28) and Arizona (Dec. 8).
Clemson will begin its 2012-13 schedule at home against Presbyterian College on Monday, Nov. 12.
Purdue will visit Littlejohn Coliseum for the second time in the last six years. The two will meet on Wednesday, Nov. 28 as part of the annual ACC/Big Ten Challenge. Arizona will travel to Clemson to complete the home-and-home series with the Tigers. The game is set for Saturday, Dec. 8. It will be Clemson’s first game against Arizona in Littlejohn Coliseum.
Clemson has also been announced as part of the 2012 Old Spice Classic in Orlando, FL over the Thanksgiving holiday. The Tigers will face Gonzaga in the opening round, ESPN announced last week. Also on Clemson’s side of the bracket are Oklahoma and UTEP.
The dates below are tentative until the ACC releases the final schedule by the end of August, after television selections have been announced. The dates for conference games are listed as mid-week starts (Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday) or as weekend contests (Saturday or Sunday).
