OLB Cayson Collins Profile Berry Academy junior outside linebacker Cayson Collins made the ride down I-85 from the Queen City to watch the Tigers' 62-48 win. "It was pretty cool. It was pretty good to see them win. It was a pretty good environment," Collins told CUTigers on Sunday. Clemson is the second school Collins has visited this season. While on his trip to N.C. State for The Citadel game, the Wolfpack extended an offer. To date, it's his only one. The Tigers became involved with Collins just a few weeks ago. Saturday's game in Death Valley was the first one he'd been invited to. What stood out about the Clemson campus? "It was very good to see. You can tell they put a lot of money into the athletic program. The fans are pretty cool. The other thing that stood out to me was the weight room. I'm real big on getting bigger, faster and stronger." Collins attends the same high school that sent Germone Hopper to Clemson earlier this year. "[Hopper] said it's a great school," Collins said. "He's been a fan of Clemson since he was little. Every time I talk to him, he wants me to come to Clemson, because he loves it." He'll be back in town next weekend for the South Carolina game. "It's going to be a pretty big game. I'm looking forward to seeing that rivalry game," Collins said. Several other schools also in contact, including Vanderbilt, Louisville, Auburn, Duke, North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Notre Dame and Georgia. As a junior, Collins had 98, tackles, two interceptions, three forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, including one that went for a touchdown.
