Miller visits Clemson
OLB Christian Miller Profile The Spring Valley High School [Columbia] junior was joined by his father, Corey Miller, a former South Carolina linebacker. "It was pretty good," the younger Miller told CUTigers. "Got up there a little earlier and stopped by a tailgate of some family friends and went in and watched the game." Miller spoke with recruiting coordinator Jeff Scott before kickoff. "He said, ‘Hello.' It was a quick little greeting type of thing when I was on the sideline before the game," Miller said. It was the first game in Clemson he'd been to this season. "The atmosphere was good. The fans were really into it," Miller said. "It was a good game, real nice. I just liked the fact that the fans were into it and the crowd was live. It was fun." South Carolina and Alabama both hosted Miller earlier this season. In Columbia, he saw the Georgia and Missouri games. In Tuscaloosa, he went to the Texas A&M game. "Alabama, it was good. I got to speak to my recruiting coach, coach [Chris] Rumph. He's awesome. A great guy on and off the field," Miller said. "I had a 1-on-1 meeting with coach [Nick] Saban, which was nice. It was an honor to get to sit down 1-on-1 with him, because of how successful he is coaching." He's been to South Carolina several times over the years. "The atmosphere at Carolina, there's no other place like it, I don't think. It's special up at Carolina," Miller said. Seven schools have offered: Clemson, North Carolina, Duke, South Carolina, Georgia Tech, Houston and Boise State. "I don't have any favorites. I kind of want to wait until I have a few more options. I'll probably have some favorites coming up son, probably the next couple of months," he said. As a junior, Miller had 126 tackles, 21 tackles for loss, 14 sacks, four forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and a defensive touchdown.
