The Navarre High School [Fla.] senior was joined by his father, younger brother and Navarre quarterback, Andrew Rieves.

"We got in Saturday morning, around 9 o'clock their time. We got checked into the hotel, saw where the players were staying and coach [Danny] Pearman took us all out to lunch," Leggett told CUTigers after the trip.

"Then, after that, we all went to the stadium. I talked to coach Brad Scott, who handles all my early enrollment issues. He gave me a schedule of what I need to do and what time I need it done by."

Saturday was the first real game in Death Valley for Leggett, who visited earlier this year for the Orange and White spring game.

"It was a blast. I'd never gotten to see them run down the hill. That was my first time. Besides how cold it was, it was a fun time," Leggett said.

Overall, the trip to Tigertown was a good experience for Leggett.

"It was a blast. I had a lot of fun, just getting more of an insight of what happens there after the games and before the games," he said.

Back home, things are going well for Leggett in his final season at Navarre.

"We're still going. We have regional championships. If we win this game, we have two more before state," he said.

Leggett, who will enroll at Clemson in January, has 50 catches for 854 yards and seven touchdowns this year.

As a junior, he had 45 receptions for 608 yards and three touchdowns.
