Jennings arrested, suspended

Milton Jennings

Clemson senior forward Milton Jennings was arrested early Wednesday morning.

Shortly after the school announced that Jennings was suspended for Wednesday night's game versus Purdue, it was reported that Jennings was arrested for possession of one ounce or less of marijuana or 10 grams or less of hash.

It was his first offense. The Tigers' leading scorer was released on a $620 personal recognizance bond.

This marks the third-time Brad Brownell has suspended Jennings.

His first suspension was a result of a verbal exchange with Brownell during last season's Diamond Head Classic in Hawaii. Later in the season, Jennings served an "academic suspension."

Jennings, a senior from Summerville, SC, is Clemson's leading scorer (10.8 points per game) and second-leading rebounder (5.6 per game) through five games.
