Plan's in place for Crowder

ORLANDO, Fla. - Tyrone Crowder once thought he would be committed by the end of 2012, but that is not the case. He has a plan and it is in place.

"I am sticking to my plan right now and that is to commit on Signing Day," Tyrone Crowder told Scout on Sunday. "I feel good about committing on Signing Day and that is still my plan."

Crowder narrowed his list down to Clemson and Georgia not too long ago and those are the two schools he feels strongly that he will choose from in the end.

"I do not see another school entering the mix right now. I think it will be Clemson or Georgia, I just do not see anyone else right now."

Why will it be the Dawgs or Tigers?

"I really like both schools. I have been to each school and I like the campuses and how things are set up.

"Clemson has been recruiting me for a long time and they have great fans. Georgia is an SEC school and I like their coaches.

"I plan on taking official visits to both schools in January."

Right now, the only official visit the 6-foot-2, 335 pound offensive guard has set is to Clemson on the weekend of January 11.

He told Scout on Sunday that he will visit UGA later in the month of May.

Crowder is the No. 3 prospect in the country on Scout.
