RALEIGH, N.C. -- Several NC State players met with the media following the Wolfpack's win over Georgia Tech on Wednesday night.

Scott Wood

"They are a great team. They've beaten a lot of great teams and they've definitely earned their No. 1 ranking."

"I'm sure this crowd won't be a problem."

"I just remember trying to get out of the mosh pit."

"I think Duke is a better team than Syracuse was when they came in... I feel like Duke is the best team in the nation right now and they've been playing that way."

"Executing down the stretch and getting stops... that's really helped us."

Lorenzo Brown

"We have a lot of scorers on our team."

"I think Quinn [Cook] is one of the most underrated point guards out there right now... he's playing great."

"Coach has been telling me to be more aggressive, and I've taken it upon myself in the last few games to do so."

"They were switching most of the time."

Richard Howell

"Coach Gottfried wants us to be defensive-minded first... we're starting to take a lot more pride in defense."

"We can score with anybody, but stopping people is going to get us a championship."

"I'm excited to play... that definitely hurt us... it was an eye-opener for us last year."

Rodney Purvis

"This was definitely a great win for us."

"It took us a minute to get going but he just said to get down in the stance, play defense, and get stops."

"It's early ACC play... we've got to come out and be ready to play from the get-go."

"I caught it and I was ready to shoot it, and I made it."
