There were a lot of big time 2014 standouts at the U.S. Army All-American Combine a few weeks ago. Many will tell you that offensive guard Isaiah Wynn (St. Petersburg, Fla./Gibbs) was the top linemen at the event.
"It was very good and I really enjoyed myself," Wynn said. "There were some of the best 2014 defensive players in the nation so for me I got a good taste of what else is out there."
It's not like Wynn was unnoticed prior to the event. He already had six scholarship offers that included teams like South Florida (first offer), Vanderbilt and West Virginia.
"Louisiana-Lafayette, Ohio and Youngstown State also have offered," Wynn said. "I have six total. "Teams like Kentucky, Mississippi State and UCF are all showing a lot of interest but have not offered yet. Florida came by the school this past Monday but up until then I have not heard much from them, FSU or Miami."
At this point Wynn says the Commodores still stand out.
"They do," Wynn said. "They have been my leader for a while now. We will see how things do. I know recruiting will really pick up after signing day."
