Some talented prospects spent Saturday in Atlanta at the MVP Camp and a handful talk recruiting with Scout here...

Over 350 football players took the field to compete at the Atlanta MVP Camp Saturday at Therrell High School and Scout caught up with some for quick updates.

Ronnie Blackmon - 5’10/165 - Sandy Creek (GA) 2016 CB
Hearing from: Georgia, Clemson, and Akron
Offers: Akron
Favorites: “I don’t have any favorites right now. I am just kind of learning the recruiting process. I feel that UGA has some interest in me though. I spoke to Coach Lakatos, and he said they were going to be keeping up with me moving forward.”

Caleb Wilson - 6’3/180 - North Oconee (GA) 2015 QB
Hearing from: Mississippi State, Auburn, Vanderbilt, Clemson
Favorites: Oklahoma
Why Oklahoma: “I have always admired that program. The QB in their offense makes a ton a plays, because it is so wide open. Has your father (UGA DL Coach Chris Wilson) helped: “He has been such a role model for me. I have able to watch and learn how the recruiting process works. I just watch him recruit other kids, and it gives me perspective on how coaches should treat me when I am recruited.”

Arden Key - 6’6/198 - MLK (GA) 2015 DE
Hearing from: Schools all over the country
Offers: 15 including Georgia and Clemson
Favorites: “Georgia, Clemson, and Texas Tech in that order.”
Why does Georgia lead: “I just like their tradition and how they welcome you with open arms. They also will play freshman which is very appealing to me.”

Josh Boyd - 5’9/180 - South Gwinnett (GA) 2014 RB
Offers: “UNLV, Toledo, Northern Illinois, Illinois State, and South Alabama. Virginia Tech told me they were going to offer next weekend.”
Favorites: “Probably Virginia Tech. If I can get an VT offer next weekend that would be big for me.”
Upcoming visits. “I am going to visit Clemson on April 13, and I am looking forward to it.”

Collin Lisa - 5’10/180 - Chattahoochee (GA) 2014 WR
Offers: UAB and Toledo
Hearing from: Boston College, Wisconsin, Duke, and UNC Charlotte
Favorites: “I like Boston College & Wisconsin, but I also like UAB and Toledo since they offered me. Coach McGee (UAB) is a really cool guy.” What you are looking for in a college: “I want to play in a system that uses slot receivers, because that’s where I think I will play. Want a great tradition, but also a college that would be fun to attend even if I don’t play football.”
