Jalen Williams Profile

On Wednesday he landed an ACC offer and you can bet more schools are going to ensue soon. Holding 10 offers now Williams may see more coming in soon.

2014 linebacker Jalen Williams of Blythewood High School is a prospect a lot of mid-majors were hoping may have stayed under the radar but that all changed today. On a visit to an ACC school Williams himself may have not realized what's in store next.

"I visited with Clemson today. We saw it all. We started off by going to Vickery Hall and see the academic side. After we got done touring Vickery Hall we went to their indoor facility. Then we stopped back by the offices and ran into all of the players gettiing out of their player meetings. Then we sat with coach Swinney and had a great conversation."

After talking with Swinney and receiving his offer, Williams was able to see the Tigers' weight room.

Williams was already a target amongst many mid-majors with 9 offers prior to the Tigers offer. Asked how it felt to receive an offer from Clemson he had this to say.

"It feels really good. I am super excited!"

Asked if he may pull the trigger with an early commitment Williams said, "I'm going to wait but I don't know how much longer."
