Four-star instate OT talks Clemson

Summerville High School regularly produces some of the most talented prospects in the state of South Carolina.

OT Zack Bailey Profile

Up next in the pipeline is junior offensive tackle Zack Bailey.

The 6-foot-5, 307-pound prospect visited Clemson for the Georgia and Florida State game.

What stood out?

"The atmosphere."

Bailey elaborated.

"Just the people, how the people are really nice up there," he said. "It's a small town. It's nice. The people were nice. It's packed. The fans are loud and cheering you on."

Prior to the game visits, Bailey was in Clemson the week before the Georgia game.

"I like it a lot. I like the town, how it's small," he said. "I'm from Summerville, so everybody knows everybody. It's kind of like Clemson. It's a small town. Everybody kind of knows everybody. It's a great place to be. It's peaceful."

He also went to South Carolina for the Florida game and will return to Columbia for the Clemson game.

"I like going up there, too. It's really different than Clemson, obviously. Clemson is a small town and USC is in the middle of the city…I liked it there," Bailey said.

Though he listed no favorites, there is a list of schools that he "would like to see." That includes: Oregon, Florida State, LSU, Alabama, Clemson, UNC, Georgia and Auburn.

Clemson, South Carolina, Florida State and UNC are among the schools with offers. The Tigers offered after his sophomore season.

A decision will be made just before or after his senior season.
