During his first season  as the starting quarterback at Clemson Boyd completed 298-of-499 [59.7] for 3,828 yards with 33 touchdowns and 12 interceptions while rushing 142 times for 218 yards and five scores.
The ACC Player of the Year made all 13 starts in 2012, connecting on 287-of-427 passes [67.2] for 3,896 yards with 36 touchdowns and 13 interceptions and rushing 186 times for 514 yards and 10 scores.
Boyd was a finalist for the Johnny Unitas and Manning Awards in 2013 after hitting on 283-of-413 [68.5] throws for 3,851 yards with 34 scores and 11 interceptions. He also had 154 rushes for 400 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Boyd is the first quarterback in ACC history with 30-plus touchdown passes in three seasons and set the conference record with 107 career scoring passes.
With Boyd as the starting quarterback, Clemson went 32-8.
