Rising junior instate QB has options

Dillon High School has sent a fair share of prospects on to play at the next level.

QB Avery McCall Profile

Avery McCall, a 2016 quarterback, already has plenty of options. In addition to Clemson, he has offers from East Carolina, LSU, Duke, UNC, South Carolina and Tennessee.

The 5-foot-11, 190-pound quarterback hasn't been on a college campus since last fall's visit to South Carolina. McCall might camp at Florida State later this summer.

But he would also like to visit Clemson, South Carolina North Carolina and Georgia this summer.

When asked about his favorites or top-five list of schools, McCall said, "My top five would be North Carolina, South Carolina, Clemson, Florida State and I would say Georgia."

Despite recently naming UNC and South Carolina his two leaders during a recent interview with Scout.com Regional Recruiting Analyst Michael Clark, McCall told CUTigers that his list was in no particular order.

A few factors stand out about Clemson.

"Their program, they have a good football team and they're in good position," McCall said.

During his junior season, McCall passed for 1,200 yards and threw 12 touchdowns.
