WR Shi Smith Profile Earlier this month, Crosby was one of the councilors at the Dabo Swinney Football Camp when Union County's newest big-time wide receiver prospect was in town. As a freshman, Shi Smith caught 35 passes for 425 yards with two touchdowns. He also had 18 carries for 198 yards with two touchdowns. He was a session one camper at this year's Dabo Camp. "It was good. I learned a lot of things," Smith told CUTigers, after wrapping up his visit to Clemson. When asked about getting to work with wide receivers coach Jeff Scott, Smith said, "It was interesting." The 5-11, 170-pound prospect said there were two parts of his game that were refined by Scott. "My stance, my stance and my hands, working on my hands," Smith said. As for Clemson itself, Smith has been impressed by what he's seen. "I like the environment," he said. To date, South Carolina is his only offer. Though he looks forward to adding others to his list, Smith is glad to have that first one out of the way. "On Friday nights, I can be comfortable going out there and playing now. I don't have to worry about anything," Smith said.
