"We're all excited," said senior wide receiver Kevin Youngblood. "We want to go out there and know the down the distance, have the coaches send in the play and then go out there and produce and get the first down. We love that..."
WR Kevin Youngblood Profile
How did you spend your Christmas break before you got to Atlanta? Was it hard to keep your mind off the game or off your potential career at the next level now that your collegiate days are winding down?
Youngblood
: Yeah, there was a lot going through my mind, I just had to sit down and sort of gather my thoughts a little bit. There's always a lot of stuff going on about picking an agent or figuring out where I'm going to work out after the bowl game and stuff like. The main thing is that I just tried to spend time with my family, get all my shopping done and just relax some.
How does that work with picking an agent? Do those guys start hounding you a lot now that you are almost done at Clemson?
Youngblood
: It's a hard situation. It's kind of like picking a college, because everybody's trying to offer you what they think is the best reason why you should go there, but in the end you just have to decide with your heart I guess. It's not something I really concern myself with right now to be honest.
How nice is it going to be to have Airese back at full strength for this game?
Youngblood
: He's another deep threat. He brings us all that speed to the table, and really, not too many people can stay with him step for step down the field. He's looked real good in practice, it's just good that we've got him back like this because that's another weapon we'll have Friday.
We talked the other day about the fact that Tennessee will likely be staying in man coverage most of the game. Are you getting a little more excited now thinking about the possibilities for this offense on Friday?
Youngblood
: Yeah, we're all excited. We want to go out there and know the down the distance, have the coaches send in the play and then go out there and produce and get the first down. We love that, and we thrive on that.
