Travil Jamison, Jordan Sorrells, and Nathan Pepper.

Those are three names that college football fans may want to familarize themselves with fairly quickly. All three are starting to pick up scholarship offers, and all three are showing interest in the Clemson Tigers.

Thursday evening, we caught up with Greenville defensive lineman Nathan Pepper.

"I've gotten offers from Kentucky and Furman," said Pepper. "I've also gotten verbal offers from S.C. State and Clemson."

As far as favorites go, Pepper says he's keeping an open mind at this point in the recruiting process.

"I'm trying to keep my interests in everyone. I don't wont to throw someone out the window because I never know what may happen," said Pepper. "So I would say I am fairly interested in all my offers."

Pepper also made it down to Clemson last weekend for the scrimmage held in Death Valley. "I really enjoyed the scrimmage. It was very intense, and I liked the chemistry the players showed this early in the season."

The rising senior had an outstanding junior year, and was instrumental in leading the Red Raiders to a 12-1 record.

"I think a strength that I have on the field is my ability to out quick and out think the guy in front of me, and my ability to keep the rest of my team confident and intense," said Pepper.

Pepper also added that academics are the most important aspect, in his estimation, when it comes to choosing a school. We will continue to keep you updated on Nathan Pepper, right up through signing day 2005.
