Clemson Picks Up Big DB Commitment

Stratford defensive back Hadrian Lewis was just waiting on an offer from Clemson.
Well, today he finally got it.
CUTigers.com has confirmed that Lewis has given his verbal commitment to play for the Clemson Tigers.
The 6-foot-1, 175-pound prospect just returned from a visit to Clemson from several weeks ago when he spoke with CUTigers.com. "It was good. I had fun. I just enjoyed the competition and everything. I enjoyed learning new things."
Lewis working hard this summer to prepare to lead the Stratford defense later this fall. "I am lifting real hard. I want to get stronger and faster. I'll do anything I can to make myself better," added the star defensive back.
The low country native was drawing interest from a whole host of schools through the early stages of the recruiting prcoess, including South Carolina, Maryland, North Carolina, and Florida State, among others.
Lewis becomes the sixth verbal commitment for the 2004 class, and the third commitment from the state of South Carolina.
Lewis recorded 50 tackles and 3 interceptions as a junior last season.
