The 6-foot-1, 175 pound prospect can't wait to run down the hill as a Tiger. "Oh yeah. I can't wait to touch the rock and run down that hill," said Lewis in a recent interview with CUTigers.com.

When asked what he felt the first time he saw Death Valley, Lewis responded, "Wow. All I could say is wow. I had never seen a big stadium like that. I remember saying to myself, 'I wouldn't mind playing here.'"

The Stratford standout has high goals for himself and the Tigers once he heads to Tiger Town. "I want to be a great corner. I want to be an All-American at Clemson. I want to play for a championship. I want a BCS ring."

For the next few months Lewis will be a Knight not a Tiger. "I don't want to take it for granted," said the rising senior. "I've still got to make it through my senior year at Stratford. I'm a Knight until the end of 2005."

Lewis, who recorded 50 tackles and 3 interceptions as a junior last season, is currently rated as the #15 player in the state of South Carolina.

We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding defensive back from South Carolina, right up through signing day 2005.
