CUTigers.com caught up with the talented running back, and we've got the latest on his leaders and his thoughts on Clemson's big win against Miami.

The 5-10, 210 pound prospect continues his impressive senior campaign for Columbia High. "We won 25-20 this week. I had one touchdown and over 100 yards rushing," Davis said.

The star running back also caught some of the Tigers impressive victory over the Canes on Saturday night. "That was a good game they played. They came together as a team. I watched the end of it."

Coach Brad Scott continues to work hard to try to convince the star running back to join the Tigers. "Coach Scott called last week. He told me they really need a running back this year. He said I could come in and have a good chance of playing next season," said Davis.

When asked if he currently has a leader, Davis responded, "No, not right now. I will tell you that Clemson is definitely in my top five though. I don't want to say who the top five is right now."

The prize recruit will start scheduling his official visits in a few weeks. "I want to wait until after the season is over to start planning the official visits," Davis added.

The Tigers will have another chance to impress the Palmetto standout in the season finale. "I am definitely coming up for the Clemson game against South Carolina," stated Davis.

The Tigers may have to wait until signing day to find out where Davis will commit. "I am probably going to wait until signing day to make my announcement," stated Davis.

"I plan to look at the coaches and the players. I want to see how I feel about each school. I will also see if they have my major. I would like to major in Sports Medicine or Criminal Justice."

We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding running back from South Carolina, right up through signing day 2005.
