Prince Miller
5-10, 185, 4.4
Byrnes High School
Duncan, South Carolina
The 5-10, 190 pound prospect, who runs a 4.38 forty, played both ways last season for Byrnes High School. “I played running back and corner. I had five picks, three punt returns for touchdowns. I’m not sure how many tackles I had though,” Miller told CUTigers.com in a recent interview.
The offer list is growing quickly for the talented athlete, as several schools have already moved in with an official offer. “I have offers from South Carolina, Wake Forest and Duke. I think Virginia Tech is close to offering,” said Miller.
When asked if he has any early favorites, Miller responded, “I don’t really have any just yet. I want to say down south. It’s all up in the air.”
The strengths are many for this talented athlete. “I am good at jamming the receivers at the line. There are not too many that can run away from me. I also go up to get the ball well. I understand the game because I look at a lot of film,” said Miller.
“But I want to work on getting better on coverage. I do it well now, but you can always get better.”
Early playing time will also be an important factor when Miller decides where to sign next February. “I will be looking for playing time. I think I can play the first season,” said Miller. We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding athlete from South Carolina, right up through signing day 2006.
