OL Trevino Woods Profile

6-5, 300 pound lineman Trevino Woods traveled to Clemson Saturday for Junior Day and he left with the Tigers in the lead.

"It was really nice," he said. "I liked the campus. I liked the town of Clemson. I really liked the coaching staff. I came up with my former defensive line coach."

What did Woods enjoy the most about the visit to Tigertown?

"I liked pretty much everything. I really liked seeing the campus. I also liked meeting some of the players," replied Woods.

Several of the Clemson coaches got a chance to talk with the star lineman.

"I talked with coach Blackwell, coach Scott and several other coaches. They just told me to keep up the good work. They complimented me on my size," said Woods.

Several of the South's top schools are showing early interest in Woods.

"I don't have any offers yet. But I am hearing from a bunch of schools. Georgia Tech, Georgia and Clemson are a few," said Woods.

The talented athlete could play offense or defensive line, but he would prefer offense.

"They asked me which I would prefer," he said. "I told them offense. I can play tackle or guard. I will probably play tackle in college."

The Georgia standout will get a chance to work more with coach Scott this summer.

"I am actually planning to go to the Clemson camp this summer. I will probably go to the one day camp. I may also go to Georgia. I am thinking about going to Kentucky. I am not sure when I will go at this point." said Woods.

When asked about his current leaders, Woods responded, "I would have to say Clemson. I just really like the campus. I also like that they have a good number of offensive lineman that will be going to the NFL."
