F Devin Booker Profile

Devin Booker, younger brother of current Clemson forward Trevor Booker, verbally committed to Clemson head coach Oliver Purnell Sunday afternoon.

Booker called Purnell just before his team left for New York City and the semi-finals of the NIT.

"I feel like I can help them out just a little bit," Booker said.

Booker, who is the first pledge for the class of 2009 for Clemson University, averaged 14 points and nine rebounds per game this past season for the Yellow Jackets.

He is widely viewed as one of the top players in South Carolina for the class of 2009.
