Moskos a Golden Spikes Award Semifinalist

Junior lefthander Daniel Moskos was one of 50 semifinalists for the Golden Spikes Award, announced May 1 by USA Baseball.

The award goes to the nation's top college baseball player.

The semifinalists will be narrowed down to five finalists later in the season. The ACC leads all conferences with 10 semifinalists.

Moskos is 3-3 with a 1.94 ERA and six saves in 17 relief appearances and four starts this season. In 41.2 innings pitched, he has allowed 38 hits and 18 walks with 54 strikeouts.
