Lewis Out for the Year

Lewis Out for the Year

Clemson defensive back Haydrian Lewis suffered a torn ACL against Georgia Tech and will be lost for the season.

He is not eligible for a medical hardship because this was his fifth game of the year.

Lewis, a junior, was injured in the second quarter of Saturday's 13-3 loss to Georgia Tech.

He is the third Clemson player to be lost for the season. Reserve funning back Ray Ray McElrathbey was lost during the preseason with a torn ACL and reserve H-back Chad Diehl broke his leg against Furman.
