6-0, 195 pound safety Daniel Andrews traveled to Clemson for the first time last weekend, less than a week after recieving a scholarship offer from the Tigers.

"It was a good visit," he said. "It was a great experience. I liked it a lot at Clemson.

"I thought the facilities were very nice. I thought the coaches were great. They have a good connection between the coaches and the players."

The big margin of victory for the Tigers surprised Andrews.

"Clemson has great fan support. The game was great. I was shocked they beat them that bad," said Andrews.

How did his teammate, Jamie Harper, enjoy the visit? "Jamie liked it. We were pretty much the same. We talked about it and we both liked it a lot," replied Andrews.

The trip to Clemson allowed Daniel to catch-up with former teammate Kyle Parker who use to play at Trinity Christian.

"It was the first time I have hung out with him in a while. We all talked at the game and hung out a lot."

The Tigers will get official visits from the Trinity Christian duo on their big visit weekend in January.

"I will take my official visit to Clemson on January 11. Jamie will be coming that weekend as well," said Andrews.

Two Florida powers may also get official visits.

"I am also going to visit Miami and maybe Florida. I don't know the dates yet," said Andrews.

The star safety will not make a decision until after the first of the year.

"I will be ready to make a decision by then. I am focused on the playoffs now. After the season I will go on my visits," said Andrews.
