James Mays will not play against Purdue due to a hip injury suffered against Gardner Webb.

Mays, who suffered in the injury with 11:48 left to play in Clemson's 96-67 win over Gardner-Webb this past Saturday, is currently second on the team in scoring at 14.8 ppg and first in rebounds at 8.6 per contest.

Clemson will face the Boilermakers Tuesday evening as part of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.
