Hamlin to Return

CLEMSON - One of the top junior defensive backs in the ACC will return for his senior season at Clemson.

Hamlin, along with juniors James Davis and Phillip Merling, was looking closely at entering the NFL Draft in April.

Merling and Davis' status has not yet been confirmed but juniors Cullen Harper and Dorell Scott will return for their senior seasons.

Clemson head coach Tommy Bowden confirmed the three would return Tuesday afternoon.

Hamlin finished second on the team in tackles with 97, including three for loss. He was also named as a second team All-ACC performer.

Also, five incoming freshman have already enrolled in school and will start class Wednesday including QB Kyle Parker, LB Tarik Rollins, DE Daquan Bowers, LB Stanley Hunter and K Spencer Benton.

WR Marquan Jones is expected to enroll next week.
