CHARLOTTE – Each day while Clemson is in Charlotte preparing for the ACC Tournament, Tigers freshman guard Terrence Oglesby will give CUTigers.com an exclusive account of what he’s been doing on a daily basis and what his thoughts are about those experiences.

DAY II
DAY I

We didn’t have any breakfast (Saturday). We had nutrition bars, and I love them. Then we went off to shootaround and then came back and had brunch with eggs and bacon and steak and stuff like that. Then we went back to the room and just relaxed up until game time.

Every time we’re up to play a game, I try to keep my mind off of it as long as I can. I’ll start getting into game mode about an hour prior. But before that, I just stay away from all the stuff and just start to focus in on what I’m about to do and who we’re about to play.

I felt better today, but it got to a point where I was a little fatigued today. But, I mean, Duke plays so dang hard you’re going to get fatigued. There’s nothing like playing against a Duke team that denies everything and they’re such a great defensive team. You can’t give those guys enough credit. Some people will talk about Greg Paulus, but that’s one heck of a player. He doesn’t get enough credit. He really doesn’t.

(On that 3-pointer I made in the last couple of minutes) I was running to get down the sideline and Demontez (Stitt) hit me and I had a big man on me in David McClure and I just hit a step back on him and knocked it down. He gave me about a foot of room and I knocked it down. It gave us a little bit of a lift and I’m just glad it went down. If I would have missed, everybody would have hated me but I hit it, so everybody’s going to love me.

It’s a pretty good feeling right now, but as happy as we are we’ve got to be that more focused (Sunday). We’re looking forward to the opportunity (Sunday). It was just a great experience. I grew up watching Duke and J.J. Redick, so it’s good to win against them.

We’ll probably go grab a bite to eat after we shower and go watch a lot of film tonight and then get up and get ready for (Sunday). My day will probably start about 9:30 (in the morning). I slept (Friday) night, so we’re good. I’ll be able to sleep.

I’m so happy for these guys. I’ve said it a thousand times, I’m so happy for Cliff (Hammonds) and Sam (Perry) and Matt (Morris) and James (Mays). The guys have been really good to me this year. I’m glad to help give these guys this opportunity. But we need one more to make these guys happy.
