This up and coming quarterback from Georgia visited Clemson Wednesday to take in spring practice. Where is he off to next? How about Clemson again. Read on to find out more.

QB Brian Adams Profile

6-4, 205 pound quarterback Brian Adams traveled up to Clemson on Wednesday to tour the campus and watch the Tigers go through spring practice.

“It went very well,” he told CUTigers.com after his trip. “I came up with my mom. My dad couldn’t make it, but he is coming up when we come back for the spring game Saturday.”

The talented quarterback got to spend a lot of time with coach Spence and the Clemson quarterbacks during the visit.

“I got to watch some film with coach Spence. I got to meet Willy Korn and Cullen Harper. I got to watch them practice,” said Adams.

Coach Spence and the Clemson staff will get to see Adams in person this summer and an offer could follow that visit.

“I am going to camp at Clemson in June. Coach Spence wants to see me throw in person. We talked about the schemes that Clemson uses and how I might fit into their schemes,” said Adams.

Many of the other top programs in the South are recruiting the Peach state standout.

“Alabama is coming up on April 20 to see me," he said. "I also went to Georgia for G-Day last weekend. They are coming up to watch me in the second or third week of May. Central Florida has been very positive. I get lots of hand written letters from them. Maryland has also shown a lot of interest.

“I think Auburn and Kentucky may be close too. They both are coming to watch me throw in person."

What is the top quarterback looking for in his college destination?

“I want to see how I fit into the program. I want to see how the coaches treat me. I will look at how they interact with the players. I got to see that today at Clemson,” replied Adams.

The interaction between the players and staff at Clemson impressed Brian.

“It was great. They had a good relationship between the coaches and players. They were all real helpful to me and my mom,” said Adams.

What else did the South Forsyth standout enjoy about his trip to Tigertown?

“They were great with my mom. They showed her everything. I like how they give a MVP for offense, defense and special teams for each game. They have the banners over in the locker rooms,” replied Adams.

Adams had over 1,800 yards of total offense and 13 touchdowns last year for South Forsyth playing in the Wing-T offense. Those numbers should go up exponentially this year as Adams and South Forsyth transition to the spread.

Adams is best described as a dual-threat quarterback even though he's over 6-feet-4 inches tall. He was recently timed in the 40-yard dash in under 4.5 seconds.

Clemson will likely sign one quarterback for the class of 2009.
