The drive to Michigan [for my unofficial visit] wasn’t so bad. We left school about 2 o’clock on Thursday. We got to Michigan Friday morning.

The recruiting coordinator Chris Singletary showed me around. He showed me the football hall. He showed me the facilities.

I got to meet with the coaches. He took me in to see them when they were in a recruiting meeting. I got to shake hands with coach Rodriguez.

Then we went to the weight room. I got to meet the strength coach Mike Barwis. He was awesome. He is an exciting guy. He had me and my coach ready to workout.

We went to lunch and then we came back and I talked with coach Gibson. He talked about how many safeties they are losing over the next few years. I saw what they do with their defensive scheme.

Then I got to sit in with coach Rodriguez a little bit. We didn’t talk much about football. He was a really cool guy. He seemed very relaxed. It was not what I expected with all the pressure of moving from West Virginia to Michigan.

We got up early Saturday and went to Notre Dame. I met with coach Brown the defensive coordinator. He showed us around.

One of their running back commits Cierre Wood walked in and we played video games. We played Madden and I beat him pretty bad.

Then we went to meet with the academic people. I already knew they had great academics.

We walked over to the stadium for the game. They had a big tent setup with some food. I was surprised that all the fans knew who I was.

It was a pretty good game. I got to see a lot of their players in action. Now I can compare what kind of team Clemson has verse Notre Dame. Coach Brown let me call a safety blitz on the third play. That was pretty cool, but there was a penalty on the play.

I got to sit down with coach Weiss. He did a conference call with my parents. He tossed over his super bowl ring. That thing was pretty.

I am up to three workouts on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s with school and VTO. I am trying to rest some on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

I am going to take it easy this week. The coaches should start coming by school soon.
