5-11, 180 pound speedster Ricco Sanders, the No. 2 wide receiver in South Carolina for the class of 2009, will visit the Tigers again soon.

“I am going to visit Clemson and South Carolina soon," he told CUTigers.com in a recent interview. "I am not sure when. I need to set them all up. Right now we are about to start spring practice at Byrnes. We start on May 12 so we'll see.”

Which teams are recruiting the prize recruit the hardest right now?

“Clemson, South Carolina and Auburn. Those three are right now,” replied Sanders.

Clemson assistant Billy Napier is working hard to convince the Byrnes standout that he should be wearing orange and purple.

“He wants me come down to Clemson. He wants me to be a Tiger,” said Sanders.

Several former Byrnes teammates are working to get Sanders to Tigertown, especially his former All American quarterback.

“I hear from Will a lot. He wants me to come to Clemson bad. He wants to throw to me again,” said Sanders.

“That would be good to be able to do that. We know each other so well. We would know our timing and everything."

When asked if he has a current leader, Sanders responded, “I don’t have a leader. I really like them all right now. I am open.”

Several new schools are showing a lot of interest.

“Oregon and Notre Dame are right now. They haven’t offered yet, but I am hearing a lot from them,” said Sanders.

The commitment timing is not clear, but a decision is not on the horizon.

“I don’t know when I will be ready. It won’t be any time soon. I am trying to wait it out as long as I can,’ said Sanders.
