Alabama Lineman Talks Visits

Clemson assistant Dabo Swinney is once again recruiting some of the top players in Alabama. CUTigers.com brings you the latest on one of the top linemen in the state.

OL/DL Brandon Moore Profile

6-5, 320 pound Brandon Moore is enjoying time as a "typical teenager" while he can before the season begins.

"Everything is going good," he told CUTigers.com in a recent interview. "I am trying to live my life like a regular teenager. I am going out with my girlfriend. I have a little job. I am trying to be a normal teenager.

"Practices are going fine. We have a couple of wrinkles to iron out, but we should be fine by our first game."

When asked about his current leaders in the recruiting process, Moore responded, "I really don't have any favorites. I am going to narrow things down. By the time school starts I will have a top five."

Two schools are sure to make the early cut.

"The two in-state schools [Auburn and Alabama] will be in there," said Moore.

Which teams are recruiting the Alabama standout the hardest right now?

"I would say Alabama, Auburn and Miami," replied Moore.

Clemson assistant coach Dabo Swinney is working to get the talented lineman on campus for a visit.

"I talked to him right before I went to a Christian camp in North Carolina. They had an offensive guard from Clemson working there. I talked with him some about Clemson," said Moore.

So that begs the question, will the Tigers get a visit?

"I would like to go to Clemson, but I am not sure if I will visit or not," replied Moore.

Don't expect a decision any time soon from the three-star standout.

"I will probably wait until after the season. I want to take some official visits first," said Moore.

What will be important when a college destination is selected?

"Distance will not really be a factor. I will look at the success of the program. I don't want to go to a team where they are 4-7 and don't go to a bowl. I will also look for a high graduation rate," replied Moore.
