Last weekend, one of the top receivers in the nation for the class of 2010, Clemson verbal commitment Martavis Bryant, visited Tigertown to take in preseason camp.

"It was a good trip," he told CUTigers.com afterwards. "I went over to catch practice. I went over with one of my coaches. I got to sit in on the meeting with the receivers. It was different that what we see. I really like coach Swinney."

Earlier this summer the Clemson verbal commit camped in Athens.

"It went great. I had a good time and learned a few things during their matt drils," said Bryant. "I am still firm with Clemson though. I am solid."

Bryant, who now plays for T.L. Hanna after his old high school closed down, says his new team should be pretty good this season.

"I am loving it so far," he said. "We are going to have a good team this year. Our quarterback looks good. We scrimmage J.L. Mann on Friday.

"We are actually doing three-a-days now. We basically go from eight to eight."

Bryant also said he'll be at most, if not all of Clemson's home games later this fall.

"I will be there for all of the home games. I can't wait," said Bryant.

As a sophomore Bryant caught 47 passes for 803 yards and three touchdowns. He also returned eight kicks for 208 yards and eight punts for 107 yards and had 18 tackles as a cornerback.

He is expected to debut as one of the top receivers in the nation next year according to Scout.com.
