Justin Green has caused Ohio State recruiting fans to wring their hands for much of the past few…
Green Discusses Clemson Trip
CB Justin Green Profile For the first time since his trip to Clemson this past weekend for his official visit, the nation's No. 21 cornerback is talking. Justin Green, one of the top remaining prospects on Clemson's 2009 recruiting board, told CUTigers in an exclusive interview Tuesday, he had a fantastic time "It was cool," Green says. "I enjoyed my time with the coaching staff and with my host Crezdon Butler. He really showed me a good time down at Clemson." He also said that one of the main things that stood out him was Saturday's banquet honoring the top performers for the Tigers from the 2008 season. "My favorite part was the banquet because I got to see what Clemson University was all about," he said. "And I got to see all the players and their different awards." So now comes the big question. With his older brother playing football at Ohio State and with his current verbal commitment to the Buckeyes also under consideration, Green has seemed like a virtual lock for the Buckeyes. That is until recently. After his visit to Clemson, in which in his family joined him mid-trip, he sat down and talked with them about things. "They've been real good," Green said. "We talked about [his decision] and they also thought Clemson had a great program." And where do things stand with his commitment to Ohio State? As things stand now, it's good news for fans in Columbus, and not so good for the fans of the orange and white. According to Green, he'll be sticking with the Buckeyes next month on National Signing Day. "I'm still committed to Ohio State," he said. "I'm sticking with my decision and sticking with the Buckeyes because I feel like it's a good situation for me and my family."
