Upstate lineman loves Clemson

If the scholarship offer comes, one of the Palmetto state's top lineman will likely be a Tiger.

OL Taylor Hudson Profile

6-5, 290 pound offensive line prospect Taylor Hudson knows where he would like to attend college.

All he needs is the scholarship offer.

"I want to go to Clemson bad," he told CUTigers in a recent interview. "I have gotten some mail from Clemson, but I haven't gotten an invite for Junior Day yet."

Last weekend Hudson visited South Carolina to check on the Gamecocks.

"I went to South Carolina this weekend," he said. "My mom, dad and grandpa came with me. I liked it a lot. It was nice.

"I talked to the offensive line coach about coming up for a one day camp. They said the offensive line has some holes and they are looking to sign a lot of linemen in this class."

What did he like the best about the visit?

"I liked the weight room and the facilities. It was nice," replied Hudson.

The visit tour continues for the Mauldin standout throughout the month of March.

"I went to Western Kentucky as well. I am going to Georgia for spring practice on the 21st of March. I got an invite from Vanderbilt to come that same weekend," said Hudson.

"I don't have any offers yet. Hopefully they will come soon. I am hearing from a number of schools. I am getting letters from pretty much everybody."
