Fan favorite Bryan Narcisse is the latest Clemson athlete to do a diary for CUTigers.com.
The win against UNC, for the moment, is the most exciting win of the season.
The atmosphere was crazy and if it was that loud for North Carolina (a team who had already dropped a non-conference game to College of Charleston) and now I can’t wait for the next home game when College Gameday comes to Littlejohn for the rematch against Duke.
However, we can’t look ahead in this league which is why that next game was important and after beating N.C. State, I felt like the Cowboys (before they got beaten by the Vikings).
We finally ended the streak we had following a win against a Top-25 team (0-14 since 1997) even though most people don't realize we have been ahead smoothly at the beginning (i.e. up 19 points Florida State following a victory over Duke last year, up 23 points on Illinois after beating Butler this season) and this game was no different. We raced out to a huge lead early but somehow found our game coming down to the last possession where Jerai had a Sam Perry type block (against NC State’s No. 1, just like Sam had) and Tanner stepped up and hit two huge free-throws to give us the three point victory on the road.
No game is an easy-win and every game is a must-win in the ACC to get leverage in the standings. Next up is a very talented Georgia Tech on the road and we are looking to continue our three game win streak.
It’s going to be crazy but we are pumped for the opportunity: two ranked opponents in one week.
LET’S GET IT!
