Biography:
2004: Ranked as the 18th-best receiver in the nation by Phil Steele, who also lists Currie as a preseason first-team All-ACC receiver...Biletnikoff Award candidate by Street & Smith...speedy senior receiver who should provide Charlie Whitehurst with a reliable go-to target...despite some nagging injuries, he had a solid junior season, and was a big reason Clemson set the team season record for pass receptions and passing yards...had 34 catches in his first two years combined, then surpassed that with 43 in 2003; he now has 77 for his career to rank 18th in school history...already over 1,000 career yards in receiving; he has 1,162 to rank 17th in school history.

2003: Set a Clemson single-game standard for catches in a game with 12 against Middle Tennessee; had 133 yards receiving and a touchdown in that contest; that ranked in a tie for the 25th-best receiving game in the nation...the 133 yards also tied for the third-best game by an ACC player; that was his only 100-yard game of the season and a career high in reception yards...had 43 catches for 560 yards, third-best on the team in both categories, quite an accomplishment considering he missed three games and played sparingly in two others...had four touchdowns; despite missing three games, he was still in the top 10 in the ACC in catches per game (4.3).

2002: Made some big plays for the Tigers, but none bigger than the 47-yard touchdown catch from Charlie Whitehurst at Duke on November 2...Clemson was facing a fourth-and-10 play at the Duke 47, trailing by 14 points in the fourth quarter...Tigers went on to a 34-31 victory, but that play jumpstarted Clemson’s comeback. His 16 catches on the year ranked sixth on the team, but his yardage total was fourth...had at least one catch in each of the last six games

2001: Had 320 receiving yards on 18 catches to break the previous Tiger freshman mark for yards per reception (17.8)...led the team in yards per catch with that 17.8 figure...had 54-yard touchdown reception at South Carolina for his first career touchdown.

High School: Ranked as the #4 wide receiver and the #21 player overall in the nation by SuperPrep...a top-125 player by USA Today...had 42 catches for 630 yards and 10 touchdowns as a senior at Richland Northeast High School...missed some games as a senior due to an ankle injury...the #6 player in the Mid-Atlantic Region by Tom Lemming. Chose Clemson Georgia and South Carolina.
