Overview: Returning three-year letterman who will be in his third year as Clemson's starting center when Clemson takes the court in 2004-05... career 56 percent field goal shooter, he ranks sixth in Clemson history in that category...also seventh in Clemson history in blocked shots with 109...second in the ACC and 21st in the nation in that category in 2003-04...first Clemson player since 1993-94 to rank in the top 25 in the nation in that category, Sharone Wright was the last to do it...leading rebounder on the Clemson team for 2003-04, the first Clemson player to lead in both categories in the same year since Greg Buckner did it in 1994-95...honorable mention All-ACC choice in 2003-04 who was also honorable mention all-defensive team... starter each of the last two years who is yet to miss a game, he has played 86 in a row entering his senior season...has more career points (677) and rebounds (501) than any other active Tiger...also led the Tigers in blocked shots, made free throws, three throws attempts and minutes played as a junior...also ranks among the active ACC leaders in career double-doubles with 13....preseason All-ACC candidate for 2004-05... capable of having a big game against good teams, he had 20 points and 16 rebounds against Georgia Tech in a game at Clemson last season....led Clemson in rebounding and field goal percentage as a sophomore when he was seventh in the ACC at 6.8 per game...has ranked in the top 10 in the ACC in rebounding each of the last two years, he was sixth in rebounding last year...Clemson's team MVP last year, he has shown improvement in scoring and rebounding each of his first three years at Clemson...had a streak of 23 straight games shooting at least 50 percent from the field between his freshman and sophomore years...has shot at least 50 percent from the field in 59 of his 86 career games at Clemson.
2003-04: Finished the season strong with double figure scoring games in each of his last four games...averaged 15.0 points and 9.0 rebounds over the last four games, he also shot 53 percent from the field...had a consistent season in that he was averaging 11.5 points a game through 11 games, 11.5 through 18 games and 11.9 through 28 games...led Clemson in scoring in three of the last four games of the year...had outstanding season on the road in ACC play, he averaged 14.8 points and 7.1 rebounds a game in the eight ACC road games...scored in double figures in seven of those eight league road games, and shot 56.2 percent from the field in 29 minutes per game on the ACC road...overall, averaged 13.5 points per game on the road and 11.2 per game at home...shot 55 percent on the road...led the team in double-doubles with seven and double figure rebound games with seven...led Clemson in scoring 10 times, more than any other Tiger, and in rebounding a team best 13 times...had 12 dunks to rank second on the team to Akin Akingbala...scored at least 20 points four times.
High School: Came to Clemson after one year at Hargrave Military Academy in Virginia...helped that team to a 26-1 by averaging 18 points and 10.3 rebounds per game...also averaged three blocks and two steals per game...had a season high of 31 points and 20 rebounds...also had a game in which he had 10 blocks...ranked as a top 100 player in the United States by some services during the 2000-01 academic year.
