| Moore plays defensive end for his Carver team, and he shows excellent athleticism. For his size he has a good change of direction and effort level. It's not out of the question that he could be a big defensive tackle. He plays with enough leverage to occupy a double team inside, but he's better suited to be an offensive tackle on the college level. Coach Al Pogue convinced Moore to move from DL to OL this year and the Rams were undefeated (13-0) heading into the semi-finals with a 45-41 heartbreaking loss. The Rams averaged just over 45 points per game. Their senior running back ran for 2,229 yards behind Moore and the offensive line. Moore graded 91% for the year.
Moore was named 5A First Team All-State by the ASWA, All Metro by the Montgomery Advertiser, Birmingham News All-State (All Classes), Mobile Press Register Super Southeast 120.
Moore had 60 tackles and seven sacks during his junior 2007 season. |
